Garpen Warranty Overview
All Machinery sold by Garpen comes with a warranty. All our Machinery warranty periods can vary from 500hrs / 12months to 1000hrs / 12months. All warranties with Garpen are back to base warranty meaning the customer is responsible for any freight charges that may be incurred.

Garpen is proud of selling quality products only, to back this confidence, we offer a 30-Day Money-back Guarantee. If you are not satisfied with a product, contact us within 30 days of receipt. A refund may be arranged excluding freight charges upon inspection. Returned merchandise must be shipped in original packaging, freight prepaid, unused, and in a resalable condition. Garpen inspects all returns and reserves the right to refuse credit on damaged, misused or non-resalable items. Your only obligation is the freight charge where applicable, provided your return is complete with original packaging, all documentation, warranty cards, cables etc.

The competitor’s quoted product must be a current and identical item that is in stock and excludes stock liquidations and must be of the same quantities quoted.
Breakdown of Warranties per Product Category:
Generators:
Petrol: 12 months/ 500hrs, whichever comes first.
Small Diesel: 12 months/ 500hrs, whichever comes first.
Water Cooled Generators: 12 months/ 1000hrs, whichever comes first – Part and Labour.
Construction Machinery:
The warranty is for 12 months. We warrant our products for faulty parts and defective workmanship. This warranty does not cover misuse, incorrect or irregular maintenance and accidents during use. If a product or part is faulty, we require it to be sent back to us including a copy of the Tax Invoice.
Pumps:
The warranty is for 180 days. We warrant our products for faulty parts and defective workmanship. This warranty does not cover misuse, incorrect or irregular maintenance and accidents during use. If a product or part is faulty, we require it to be sent back to us including a copy of the Tax Invoice.
Piston Air Compressors:
The warranty is for 12 months. We warrant our products for faulty parts and defective workmanship. This warranty does not cover misuse, incorrect or irregular maintenance and accidents during use. If a product or part is faulty, we require it to be sent back to us including a copy of the Tax Invoice.
High-Pressure Cleaners:
The warranty is for 12 months. We warrant our products for faulty parts and defective workmanship. This warranty does not cover misuse, incorrect or irregular maintenance and accidents during use. If a product or part is faulty, we require it to be sent back to us including a copy of the Tax Invoice. All accessories are covered by 3 months warranty.
In the unlikely event that you have a problem with your new purchase follow the following procedure:
Step 1
Call the Garpen Support Team at (08)-9471-1711 with details of your issue. We have a qualified Mechanic and electrician on staff during trading hours and a lot of the time the issue can be resolved over the phone for a small commissioning problem. If you aren’t able to call feel free to email the team at sales@garpen.com.au and the team will get straight onto your problem. Please have details of your purchase handy – the actual purchase date plus the original invoice number will suffice. Garpen’ Weekday Trading Hours are 8am to 5:00pm.
Step 2
If we cannot fix the problem over the phone, we may ask you to send the product through our workshops near you. We have workshops in Perth, Brisbane and Melbourne. Garpen will either repair or replace the unit depending on the warranty assessment free of charge. But please note it is the buyer’s responsibility to get the product back to us for warranty inspection.
Step 3
Once the unit has been received, we will keep you informed through the whole servicing process. We pride ourselves on 100% backing of all our products.
